At the Walili dental center we respect the recommendations in terms of hygiene and sterilization. Precautionary measures for each act and for each patient are applied in order to eliminate the slightest risk of contracting a transmissible disease.
Le centre est équipée d’une salle de setrilisation et un stérilisateur AUTOCLAVE CLASSE B 9( nouvelle génération marque CASTELLINI (R)) , recommandées par les sociétés dentaires.

What is a class B AUTOCLAVE?
We can categorize steam sterilizers into three: class B, type N and type S autoclave.
The first category is the one that offers total sterilization and it is the autoclave that is recommended for doctors and tattoo artists alike.

This appliance uses saturated water vapor under pressure or the water is heated to a temperature that can be higher than 100°C. With this resource, there is protein denaturation and microbial activity is interrupted. It is possible that the activity is only temporarily stopped and resumes as soon as the element is at an ambient temperature.

Hygiene rules :

• All patients must complete a medical questionnaire.

• Responses are carefully reviewed by the medical team to provide the most complete and safe care.

BEFORE EACH TREATMENT SESSION

• The care team washes their hands before and after each treatment with an antiseptic soap.

• Gloves and medical masks are worn during care and discarded after each patient.

• The dental surgeon wears protective glasses, a cap and a surgical mask.

• Gowns are washed separately from normal laundry.

• In some cases, they are even sterilized or disposable.

THE STERILIZATION CYCLE

Immediate decontamination by immersion in a liquid complying with standards:

• Washing of instruments in the thermal disinfector.

• Instrument drying.

• Sterilization of instruments in a CLASS B AUTOCLAVE.

• Baggage and sterilization under pressure.

• All instruments are stored sterile in single-use pouches.

AFTER THE TREATMENT SESSION:

After each treatment, single-use dental supplies (needles, saliva ejectors, gloves, etc.) are discarded, with special waste treatment • In order to avoid any risk of cross-contamination, all the surfaces concerned are decontaminated with disinfectant wipes or sprays (operating light, armchair, work surfaces, drawer handles, spittoon). • Other sterilizable instruments such as mirrors, probes, trays, scissors or curettes undergo an immutable cycle of sterilization.
